OUR VISION

► OUR VISION

Sustainable communities free from generational poverty.

► OUR MISSION

Global Hands of Hope is committed to building sustainable communities free of generational poverty.  We accomplish this by stimulating economic development, nurturing cultural renewal, providing access to Christian education and medical care, and creating safe environments for vulnerable children to thrive in.

► ELIMINATING THE ROOTS OF GENERATIONAL POVERTY

We believe that all children are created in the image of God and have inherent value and potential, regardless of the place, family, and community into which they are born. Because of this belief, we are committed to long term building of community knowledge and support structures that provide all children with opportunities to grow in safety and to thrive.

Our interventions address the roots of generational poverty, bringing about change in the hearts and minds of individuals, families and the entire community. We believe that respecting community culture and working in partnership with community leaders leads to grassroots development, reduces corruption, and diminishes dependency. This leads to sustainable development, cultural renewal and provides real change and hope to future
generations.

► OUR STRATEGY IS MULTI-FACETED

Education – Providing quality education based on Christian principles to the most vulnerable children in Bukeka.

Health – Ugandan medical personnel provide care to about 400 patients each week at the Suubi Medical Clinic

Local Church – Biblical preaching, evangelism and discipleship provide opportunities for the local church to grow and deepen.

Food Security – We provide two hot meals every day for all Suubi students, and encourage modern farming practices in the community.

Vocational Training– We empower and educate adults and teens to develop vocational skills and entrepreneurial mindsets.

Child Protection– We protect vulnerable children from abusive situations by providing a variety of safe environments.

► LOVE IS OUR CORE VALUE

We love and serve children, their families, and their community, because Christ first loved us. We are driven by this love to serve communities so they may experience how much God loves them. Because of His love for us, we love and care for all vulnerable children in the communities in which we serve regardless of their faith, political affiliation, or tribe, without prejudice. For this reason, people of every faith partner with us to create sustainable community development and safe environments for children to grow, live, and thrive.
